At Grow Space Vertical Farms, we grow exceptionally fresh, chemical-free produce for health-conscious families and restaurants throughout Southeast Wisconsin who value local, sustainable food.

Since launching in 2023, we've been growing chemical-free lettuce, microgreens, and herbs right here in Kenosha for families and restaurants throughout Southeast Wisconsin. As demand for our living greens continues to grow, we're looking for someone special to join our harvest team.

Why We Need You

Our subscribers count on us every week for the freshest greens possible. When they open their delivery bags, they expect and deserve perfectly harvested microgreens that were cut fresh this week, not shipped from thousands of miles away. That's where you come in.

We need someone who understands that every package represents our commitment to transforming how our community eats. Someone who takes pride in careful work and wants to be part of the local food movement.

Job Title: Microgreens Harvester & Order Packer - Part-Time

Company: Grow Space Vertical Farms
Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Wednesdays & Thursdays (8-14 hours/week)
Starting Pay: $15/hour

About Grow Space Vertical Farms We're on a mission to transform how Southeast Wisconsin eats by growing the freshest, chemical-free greens year-round. Our indoor hydroponic farm delivers living lettuce, microgreens, and herbs to health-conscious families and local restaurants who are tired of "Sad Salad" from the grocery store.

The Role We're looking for a detail-oriented team member to join our harvest crew for two critical days each week:

• Wednesdays: Harvest fresh microgreens and package them with care
• Thursdays: Pack and prepare customer orders for pickup
• Optional: Join us at local farmers markets on weekends for additional hours and customer interaction

This is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality, and wants to be part of the local food movement.

What You'll Do

• Carefully harvest delicate microgreens at peak freshness
• Package products according to our quality standards
• Organize and pack customer orders accurately
• Maintain a clean, food-safe work environment
• Help ensure every customer gets the freshest greens possible
• (Optional) Represent Grow Space at farmers markets, sharing our story with the community

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail (our customers notice the difference!)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy harvest days
• Reliable transportation to our Kenosha facility
• Enthusiasm for local, sustainable agriculture
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Experience in farming, food service, or packaging
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Interest in hydroponic or vertical farming
• Comfort interacting with customers (for farmers market opportunities)
