Naturally, microgreens can be incorporated into your morning toast each morning. Microgreens are high in nutrients, and can be added to almost any type of toast. This recipe is especially for eggs and bacon, but you can add whatever ingredients you like!
Ingredients:
• 2 slices of bread of your choice
• 2 strips of bacon
• 2 eggs
• 4 tablespoons of microgreens mix (or enough for two slices) • Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Fry the bacon in a skillet until it reaches desired level of crispiness. Set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Toast your bread according to your desired crispiness.
Meanwhile, break both eggs into the same skillet used for cooking bacon and fry until cooked to your preference—sunny side up, scrambled or over easy will all work well here!
Top toast with fried eggs and sprinkle with microgreens and crumbled bacon pieces as desired. Season with salt & pepper as desired and enjoy!
