2025 in Review: How Grow Space Grew and What’s Coming in 2026
2025 was a big year for Grow Space Vertical Farms.
We grew and sold thousands of units of fresh produce, welcomed many new faces into the farm, and made real progress toward our long-term vision: a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable local food system.
Here’s a look back at what we accomplished in 2025, and where we’re headed next.
What Did Grow Space Accomplish in 2025?
In 2025, Grow Space sold:
- 4,127 heads of lettuce
- 2,713 containers of microgreens
These numbers are actually lower than our true totals, as we switched eCommerce platforms halfway through the year and lost some historical data in the process.
Even so, the impact of the produce was significant.
By growing locally in an indoor, controlled environment, that food helped save over 70,000 gallons of water compared to conventional soil-based agriculture. That’s water conserved while also avoiding chemical pesticides, reducing food miles, and delivering fresher greens directly to our community.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us this year — every purchase truly made a difference.
Why 2026 Will Be Even Better
If those numbers sound exciting, 2026 is where things really start to accelerate.
One of our biggest focuses moving forward is better data, stronger systems, and more transparency. As we improve how we track and share our metrics, we’ll be able to show (in real numbers) how Grow Space continues to become more efficient and impactful over time.
Our goal is simple: improve in every way that matters.
Our Goals for 2026
With your continued support, here’s what we’re aiming to accomplish this year:
🌱 Reach 0% Food Waste
We’re already very close, but there are still a few inefficiencies to fix. Eliminating food waste entirely is a top priority.
🏗️ Finish 80% of the Second Floor
Expanding upstairs means more growing capacity, more produce, and more resilience for the farm. It’s a big project, but we’re committed to getting it done.
👋 Welcome 1,000 New Faces
As we expand, we want more people to experience the farm, see how their food is grown, and become part of the Grow Space community.
📊 Improve Data & Transparency
From water use to production numbers, we want clearer, more accessible data. Both for ourselves and for the people who support us.
