Fresh Greens in February? That's the Point.

Fresh Greens in February? That's the Point.

Most of the lettuce in America comes from California and Arizona. When you buy greens at the grocery store in January, they were probably harvested a week or more ago, trucked across the country in a refrigerated trailer, and stocked on a shelf that's 1,500 miles from where they grew.

And here's the thing about outdoor farming: seasons matter. Growing conditions shift. Quality fluctuates. That bag of spinach you loved in June might be a soggy disappointment in December.

We don't have that problem.

At Grow Space, we grow indoors. That means we control the temperature, the humidity, the light — everything. January looks the same as July inside our facility. There's no "off season." No weather delays. No frost damage. No summer drought.

The greens you get from us in the middle of a Wisconsin winter are the same quality as the ones you get in the middle of summer. Crisp. Fresh. Grown right here in Kenosha, harvested the same week you eat them.

What This Means for You

  • Consistency — No more guessing if this week's lettuce will be good or not
  • Availability — We're growing year-round, not waiting for the right season
  • Freshness — Local means days from harvest, not weeks in transit

Outdoor farms are at the mercy of the weather. We're not.
